Tools for Pastors

The more tools we have in our "toolbox", the more effective we can be.
Rosey is available to share these tools with you or your group, in person or by teleconference.
Emotional Literacy - What feelings can tell us
In this 1 ½ hour workshop, you will learn how to read the messages feelings carry, and what we they tell us we need to do. What to do with those feelings that crop up in the middle of a meeting, or when a parishoner gives you some critical feedback? When someone tells you they are depressed, or frustrated, or inadequate, how can you use the messages from those feelings to give new insight about how to move forward? What feelings are okay to express in your congregation, and which ones are not, and what can we do to be able to move forward? Individual coaching following the seminar adds personal benefit, and brings alive the possibilities for this tool when working with staff, clients, parishoners or congregations. Powerful Questions
In this one-hour workshop, you will learn what makes questions powerful,
receive tips and identify steps to help you put this important tool into practice. Ever notice that people seem to engage better when you ask questions than when you give answers? Whether in growing disciples or solving problems, you can enhance your value to your parishoners and congregation as you gain the skill of asking powerful questions. Individual coaching following the seminar adds personal benefit, and brings alive the possibilities for this tool when working with staff, clients, parishoners or congregations. |

Why don't the things that used to work seem to work now? What do we do next?
When our organization seems to become stale and it is hard to energize the members to stay vitally involved, it may be that it is following its natural life cycle. Learn about that life cycle, the characteristics in each stage, and what you need to do to keep your organization fresh and alive. Adaptive Change Concepts
Seems like what you have been doing just doesn't work anymore? But you just cannot imagine what would work?
Rosey will coach your church to imagine new ways to function that fit where you want to be.
